Privacy Policy
This notice (Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR) explains which personal data we process when you use the website, the configurator or the technical catalogue, book a consultation, pitch an article for The AV Blog or leave feedback on the website.
Data we process
We only process the data you give us or that the website needs to work securely:
your name, email and the information you enter in the forms
event details: type, date, guests, venue and requested equipment
anonymous, aggregated visit statistics (pages viewed, country, device type, referring site), collected without cookies
technical browsing and security data (IP address, browser, time) in the server logs
Purposes and legal bases
We use the data for the purposes below. We do not use it for marketing or profiling, and the configurator estimate is only indicative: it is not an automated decision.
answering requests and sending estimates, quotes and the confirmation email: pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
reading the feedback you leave on the website to improve it and, only if you give your email, replying to you: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
aggregated visit statistics to improve the website, without cookies and without identifying visitors: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
website security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
tax and accounting duties if the request becomes a contract: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
Recipients and transfers
The data is processed by us and by providers acting as processors. Some are based in the United States: transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) also processes your data under its own policy.

Retention
We keep the data only as long as needed:
requests with no follow-up: up to 24 months after the last contact
contracts and invoices: 10 years, as required by law
visit statistics: in aggregated form only; the technical visit identifier changes every 24 hours
technical logs: for the short period needed for security
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, or object to the processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@cronoseventi.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
